September 27, 2016 (Philadelphia, PA) – Kimberly-Clark Professional* announced three finalists in the Sustainable Campus Competition LIVE!.

Finalists are:

“As three institutions get one-step closer to their chance of receiving $50,000, I am excited for the first Sustainable Campus Competition LIVE to take place at the 2016 AASHE Conference & Expo. We are proud to support institutions as they strive to advance sustainability,” said Ben Jarrett, North America Sustainability Leader at Kimberly-Clark Professional*.

226 entrants submitted their best idea in 500 words or less about a campus initiative that is related to energy, waste, food, water or climate change. From there, 20 semi-finalists submitted a 2-minute video and 1-page financial overview of their project. Next, the three finalists will present their project in front of a panel of judges and a live audience at the 2016 AASHE Conference & Expo.

The grand prize winner of $50,000 will be selected on stage during the AASHE Conference & Expo on October 10, 2016 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland. For complete contest details, visit the AASHE website.
