Philadelphia, PA (August 13, 2018) – The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) is pleased to announce the finalists for the 2018 AASHE Sustainability Awards.

- Brandt Bucher and Tim Rudek at the University of California for “UCI Bus Love: UC Irvine’s Transition from a Bio-Diesel to Electric Transit Fleet”
“The higher education sustainability community continues to stay focused on work that contributes toward a thriving, equitable and ecologically healthy world. This is most evident through the entries received for the AASHE Sustainability Awards,” said Executive Director Meghan Fay Zahniser. “I am happy that we can recognize the innovation and leadership demonstrated by this year’s finalists.”
Winners, including the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award Winner, will be announced mid-September and recognized on Oct. 2 during the opening ceremony at the AASHE Conference & Expo in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
