Featured Programs

Join us June 5-6 for the AASHE Sustainability Education Forum 2025, building on the success of previous years. This dynamic event, based on Open Space Technology, provides a collaborative space for open discussion, knowledge sharing, and co-creating the future of sustainability education. Whether you’re a faculty member, curriculum developer, instructional designer, or simply passionate about sustainability education, this forum offers engaging conversations, valuable connections, and fresh insights to support your work. Registration is now open, and two featured speakers are confirmed (with more to come)!
Discover new ways to engage students in sustainability education in our upcoming virtual workshop on April 10, 2–5 p.m. ET. Designed for faculty teaching undergraduate or graduate students, this session explores the Burns Model of Sustainability Pedagogy, a research-backed framework for student-centered, action-oriented learning. Through collaborative discussions and hands-on activities, participants will explore transformative teaching strategies that deepen student engagement and empower them to address real-world sustainability challenges. Attendees will also receive a comprehensive playbook featuring mini-lessons and adaptable resources to integrate into their courses. Join this workshop to enhance your curriculum, inspire your students, and cultivate the next generation of sustainability leaders.
