Webinar: From STARS Points to Impactful Teaching: The Role of TASK
April 9 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT
FreeIntegrating sustainability into education is both essential and challenging. Institutions must balance transdisciplinarity with the need for specialized expertise, engage faculty and staff who may have varying levels of familiarity with sustainability, and undertake curricular revisions in the context of time constraints and competing priorities. Despite these challenges, effective strategies and tools can help embed sustainability into learning in impactful ways.
This webinar will explore concrete strategies for advancing sustainability education. Moderated by Aurélien Decamps, Cofounder of Sulitest, this session will showcase how TASK (The Assessment of Sustainability Knowledge) and its adjacent resources can be effectively deployed to support institutions in earning STARS points. In addition to contributing to STARS scores, we will demonstrate how TASK serves as a powerful tool for fostering sustainability awareness, engaging faculty and students, and creating impactful learning experiences.
Through real-world case studies, participants will see how TASK has been used to meet reporting requirements while driving meaningful change in teaching and learning. Join us to explore best practices and gain practical insights on integrating TASK and sustainability into curricula effectively.
