Webinar: Observing Earth Day, 2025 On your Campus

FreeLearn about the theme of Earth Day, 2025: “Our Power, Our Planet,” focused on promoting renewable energy and the power of advocacy! Lee and Libby will introduce you to the Earth Day Global Conversation and discuss how you can work with students, community members, and local leaders to organize forums or rallies on your campus this Earth Day. You will also learn about opportunities for faculty to engage with the theme through the #MakeClimateAClass campaign and how you can use Earth Day to share your campus’ sustainability accomplishments.
Lee and Libby will provide you with access to resources to help students plan events and adopt the theme of Earth Day into your existing programming. You will also learn about the support EARTHDAY.ORG can provide such as media outreach assistance, forum panelist recruitment, one-on-one consulting, and inclusion on the Earth Day Global Map. After this presentation, you will know exactly how your campus can have the largest impact this coming Earth Day!

Lee Franklin, Appalachian State Class of 2020 Lee has served as College Campus Coordinator for EARTHDAY.ORG since October of 2023. He earned his organizing chops working on student voting rights and elections. In 2024, he worked with students and partners to organize 40 events across the U.S. for Earth Day. |

Libby Bunch, Witworth University Class of 2024 Libby Bunch serves as Campus Outreach Associate for EARTHDAY.ORG. Libby has worked in local environmental advocacy in her home-state of Washington, and worked with farmers in Tanzania before coming to Earth Day. |
