Improving recycling or getting folks to use compost bins can be tricky. Even at schools with long established collection programs, recoverable materials all too often end up in the trash. This webinar will begin with an overview of several student engagement campaigns Stanford University has implemented to increase recycling and organics collections. Attendees will also learn about brand new research from Penn State showing how knowledge of what happens when items are recycled can lead to increased recycling rates.
