Sustainability Across the Curriculum Workshop at Mount Holyoke College 2025
May 22
At a time that feels more urgent than ever, it is imperative that as we aim to prepare students for democratic citizenship, we also ensure they are equipped to deal with the challenges of the climate crisis, be they environmental, social or economic. Additionally, universities and colleges have a unique role to play in both leading and pushing the envelope on climate solutions. In an attempt to support and help accelerate the infusion of sustainability content into the curriculum, the Miller Worley Center for the Environment at Mount Holyoke College is pleased to invite you to a Sustainability Across the Curriculum workshop that will help us educate for and about the climate crisis and sustainable solutions for a just future.
As one of the Association for Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education’s (AASHE) Centers for Sustainability in the Curriculum, the Miller Worley Center for the Environment will be hosting an all day workshop for faculty, teachers and staff in the region of Western Massachusetts.
Join us on Thursday, May 22nd, 2025, from 9am-5pm (with a reception to follow) at the Hitchcock Center in Amherst, MA. Registration is open here through May 16.
Space is limited to 20 participants with preference given to those with teaching responsibilities.
Mount Holyoke College is one of the regional AASHE Centers for Sustainability Across the Curriculum. Centers host workshops and other professional development opportunities throughout the year. If you aren’t able to attend this event, please consider attending one of the other upcoming events organized by a Center.
