Throughout the next year, and through the 2024 conference that leads up to ASHE’s 50th anniversary, I invite you to consider dismantling the hierarchies that have been constructed about who is worthy of the title “scholar.” I believe these often create barriers to better policy, practice, and scholarship.

The Talloires Network of Engaged Universities is delighted to announce that the 2024 Talloires Network Leaders Conference will be co-hosted by Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology and the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences! The global conference will be held from 3-5 December 2024 in Bhubaneswar, India. The planned theme of the conference will be "Institutional Transformation: The Role of Universities in Civil Society and the Potential of Networks," however, themes and content will necessarily evolve in collaboration with conference hosts.
