AASHE is supporting academic health institutions in declaring the health of the planet to be a “Code Red” emergency. Signed by organizations and individuals around the world, the Academic Health Institutions Declaration on Planetary Health calls for immediate implementation of planetary health education and research. This initiative, which is facilitated by the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada, aligns with AASHE’s efforts to ensure sustainability is infused across the curriculum.
