Since 2012, AASHE has collaborated with Sierra magazine and The Princeton Review to allow colleges and universities to use the STARS Reporting Tool to share their sustainability data for potential inclusion in Sierra’s Cool Schools ranking and The Princeton Review’s Guide to Green Colleges. This year, in response to feedback from AASHE members, AASHE, Sierra and The Princeton Review have made some significant changes to the data sharing process. Join this webinar to learn about these changes and how they impact you. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.

Details

	Julian Dautremont-Smith, Director of Programs, AASHE Julian is one of AASHE’s co-founders and served as Associate Director from 2004 until 2009, when he left AASHE to pursue graduate studies. He rejoined AASHE in 2015 as the Director of Programs. In his work with AASHE, Julian played leadership roles in creating the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS) as well as the American College & University Presidents’ Climate Commitment. Outside of AASHE, Julian served for two years as the Chief Sustainability Officer of Alfred State College and spent another year as Senior Program Manager with GreenerU. He has an MBA and an MS in Natural Resources and the Environment from the University of Michigan and a BA in Environmental Studies from Lewis & Clark College.
	Chris Pelton, STARS Program Manager, AASHE Prior to joining AASHE in 2011, Chris evaluated social service programs and policies and helped design assessment tools for the state of Tennessee. He also conducted participatory, community-based research projects and helped lead a living wage campaign at the University of Tennessee. Chris has a master’s degree in Sociology (Political Economy) and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sociology from UT-Knoxville.
	Jason Mark, Editor in Chief, Sierra Jason Mark is the editor in chief of Sierra, the national magazine of the Sierra Club, and the author of Satellites in the High Country: Searching for the Wild in the Age of Man. His writings on the environment have also appeared in The New York Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Nation, TheAtlantic.com and WashingtonPost.com. He is a co-founder of San Francisco’s largest urban farm, Alemany Farm.
	David Soto, Director of Content Development, The Princeton Review David Soto is The Princeton Review’s Director of Content Development and a senior member of the New York City-based editorial team since 2001. David oversees the company’s higher education data programs and directs their institutional surveys. He is co-author of its annual college guidebooks, The Best 382 Colleges and Colleges That Pay You Back: The 200 Schools That Give You the Best Bang for Your Tuition Buck. He has been sourced on college and grad school topics in publications from The Wall Street Journal to Inside Higher Education, and guested on programs on ABC and CBS News Radio.
