Experiential Learning Opportunities (ELOs) are intended to advance conference objectives by allowing participants to see and explore attractions in and with the community. They offer attendees additional content-rich experiences that enhance learning and provide a forum to engage with each other. ELOs are not included in the conference registration price and are offered for a separate fee.

Join the Zero Waste Campus Council at the California State University Fullerton Arboretum for an interactive zero-waste workshop and tour. Hear from CSU Fullerton sustainability staff about the campus’ sustainability efforts, and from the staff at the University of Southern California and Stanford University about operational and data-driven zero-waste strategies. Attendees will have the opportunity to chat with presenters and each other about their unique waste challenges, requirements, and opportunities presented by higher education settings. Coffee and tea are provided in the morning, and lunch will be provided.
