Andrea Webster (andrea@aashe.org) is AASHE’s Publications & Education Coordinator and Editor of the AASHE Bulletin. She graduated from Indiana University in the spring of 2007 with a B.A. in French. During her time at Indiana University, Andrea served as the Director of Environmental Management for the Residence Halls Association, a position through which she founded the residence hall recycling system, the annual end-of-the-year donation of dorm room items, and the Go Green Challenge, a program in which students, faculty, and staff can use reusable bottles to purchase discounted drinks in all on-campus food courts and kiosks. Andrea also served on a committee made up of students, faculty, and staff that made sustainable policy recommendations to the Indiana University administration. Additionally, she spent two years working as a Program Assistant for the Honors Program in Foreign Languages and spent a semester studying in Aix-en-Provence, France. The summer following graduation, Andrea interned with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management in the Office of Air Quality. She currently lives in Frankfort, KY where she enjoys cooking, hiking, bike riding, and participating in community events.
